We are finally home! We had such a fun time in Utah. We were sad to leave our families, but it is always good to be home. We have already posted about our first weekend there so I will recap what we did that last week.
*Monday we were able to spend the day with Summer, Josh, Sam, and Nikki again. It was so great to see them!
*Tuesday and Wednesday we just hung out at my parents and of course watched American Idol!
*Thursday we were able to watch my nieces perform in the "Children's Sociable" which is basically a Grantsville kids talent show. It was fun to watch. Great job Ashton, McKinley, and Reagan!
*Friday we were suppose to go to Sam and Nikki's but Grayson had been such a little terror and was getting pretty sick with a really bad cold and cough so we stayed home. Thanks to my mom offering to babysit sick little Gray, we headed to the 9:35pm showing of "Vantage Point" with my sisters and their husbands, and Cal of course. We had a fun time and loved the movie! If you haven't seen it yet, you should!
*Saturday we went to the "Old Folks Sociable" which is a bigger better version of the children's sociable. We got all dressed up and headed out. We had a good dinner, program and we were able to go dancing, it was really fun. Ben even asked my cute little Grandma to dance, it was really sweet! Ben likes to make fun of me for being from such a small town, but it's kind of fun to have traditions like that. The sociable has been going on for over 120 years!
*Sunday we headed to Mona to my brothers house for his birthday. Happy Birthday Shane! We went to church with them and had a nice dinner with all of my family. Then we went to Sam and Nikki's house to visit, they have such a cute little place. Grayson loved their crazy cat!
*Monday we packed up and then went to dinner with the fam again. Afterwards we ran into our good friends Thomas and Sara who we knew when we lived in Logan. We were able to go to their house and see their 2 sweet little babies that they just adopted, it was so great to see them, it had been 3 years.
*Tuesday we drug the kids out of bed and headed out the door a 6am to catch our flight home. The boys were both angels on the plane and Grayson actually slept!
***Grayson had been pretty cranky the whole time we were there and would hardly eat anything (which is normal for him) and was such a Daddy's boy. We were about to go crazy because he was being so hard. As I said earlier he had a really bad cold and cough and had a little bit of a fever at times. The last day we were there we finally realized why he was so cranky.......he had gotten 2 new molars! No wonder he was so miserable!
We now have to get back into real life. Ben only has 1 1/2 weeks of class left and 2 weeks of finals....we are so close to being done, I can't believe it!

I was hoping for more pictures! Sounds like you had a really great time! It must have been really fun to have connected with all of your family and some friends too. I can't believe that's all Ben has left as well. Way to go Ben and way to go Sharon for supporting him thru all of this.......catch up later.............
I am so jealous of all the family time. You do need to post more pictures! YAY for molars! That will make eating a little easier. Carter is still chomping away with only 12.
Yeah, he has 18 teeth now...if only he would eat!!! He is only getting worse at eating, I am afraid he is going to weigh less that Cal soon. He has been doing a little better since we have been home.
Hey- Sounds like you had a great vacation! Its always so fun to go to the Sociable (at least for the native Grantsville folks :) I'm glad Ben was a good sport.
