Cafe Rio, Jersey Party!!!

We had such a fun weekend! On Friday night we we went to the carousel with our friends the Sperry's. Grayson, as always, was scared of it so he sat on Ben's lap the whole time. Cal rode a horse but was a little scared too. By the time the ride was done they were both loving it and wanted to ride again. We don't have any pictures because we forgot our camera. Then we had a movie night at our house with our friends Kris and Emily to watch "Groundhogs day". Love that movie!

After the movie we were talking about our plans for Saturday night. (The Sperry's and us pretty much live at each others houses!) We were planning on making a "Cafe Rio" dinner. We both have recipe's that are supposedly the real deal. Emily suggested that we wear our Sombreros and have a Mexican Party. And then some how the conversation twisted and it ended up that we were all going to wear a jersey instead.....

On Sunday we had a Super Bowl party at our friends the Foulgers. But, again, we forgot our camera! It was so much fun and the kids had a fun time running wild and playing. Overall, we had a really great weekend. We are lucky to have such great friends since we don't live close to family.
