We were able to go to "Lavender Days" in Mona, UT.....not sure where that is? It is a very small town where my brothers live just North of Nephi. I guess Mona is one of like 5 places that have a ton of Lavender fields so they put on this huge celebration. The kids had a great time rowing boats, getting their faces painted, watching jousting (like in the movie "A Knight's Tale"), and much more. We had a great time! My whole family was able to be there.
My nephews had the most extreme faces....Grayson started crying when he saw Ty (above). After that day whenever we were going to see Ty again Grayson would say "No Ty Ty" and almost start crying again....it was pretty funny. We finally convinced him that Ty was not scary and was actually a real person.....not a monster! Cameron (below) had a pretty good face too!
Here is a little taste of the jousting....it was actually pretty fun to watch....my favorite part of the video is Grayson's little squeal at the end.
